kapoposang Paradise resort

About Us

kapoposang Paradise resort

Kapoposang Paradise Resort is a resort located on an island in one of the islands in South Sulawesi, precisely in Pangkep district (Pangka Jene Islands). Which is 70km from Makassar City which can be reached by speed boat for 2 hours.
Kapoposang Island has many attractions of its own, the beaches are all white sand where at certain times we can see the laying process of green turtles, and if you are lucky you can see the process of green turtle eggs hatching.
On Kapoposang Island itself we can find avian fauna that only exists on Kapoposang Island, namely the Konde bird. Apart from the Konde bird, we also usually find canary crabs in the coconut forest area. Apart from fauna, there is also flora that is no less unique, namely the sentigi tree (pemphis acidula).
At certain times we can see the activities of residents making wooden boats using manufacturing techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation, there is also processing of coconuts into VCO oil (virgine coconut oil) after which the shells are made into charcoal. And it's no less interesting during the flying fish egg season (exocoetidae) where most of the residents go to catch flying fish eggs and dry them in their yards, and if we're lucky we can buy them directly from the residents.
At Kapoposang Paradise Resort itself we offer a different atmosphere from other resorts. We have the best sunset view on Kapoposang Island which is directly on the beach in front of the resort

The types that have been identified at a depth of less than 10 meters are 9 families of hard corals, 1 family of soft corals, 2 families of anemones, 4 families of gorgonians and 5 families of sponges.
